From the 3C certification, the phone with the model number VER-AN10 will support 11V/6A charging speeds, meaning that it will launch with 66W wired fast charging. Just last month, the Magic V2 was also found with MIIT certification, but this did not reveal anything other than it supports 5G. Not much else is known about the upcoming foldable but according to leakster Digital Chat Station, it will use a custom substrate 2K LTPO OLED panel with high-frequency dimming. It will apparently also be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is relatively large for a foldable phone and is the same capacity as the Magic Vs. Under the hood, it is rumoured that the Magic V2 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but there are claims that it could also come with a second variant equipped with the last-gen Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. This will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Moreover, HONOR could be adding 50W wireless charging to the foldable. For reference, the Magic Vs sports a 6.45-inch 120Hz OLED panel for its outer display and a 7.9-inch 90Hz OLED display when unfolded. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. For the camera setup, it features a 54MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device has not been listed on SIRIM yet but given how it took five months for the Magic Vs to arrive in Malaysia after its initial launch, it wouldn’t be a surprise if there was a similar gap for the Magic V2 to make its local debut.
