Turn Off Siri On HomePod Using Your Voice
Step #1. Just say, “Hey Siri, stop listening.” Step #2. The personal assistant will ask you to confirm, say “Yes.” If you ever want to bring Siri into action again, you can do so with ease.
Turn On Siri on HomePod using Your Voice
Step #1. Simply tap on the center of your HomePod display. Step #2. Now, say, “Hey Siri, start listening.” Just in case you don’t want to use your voice, you can disable Siri from the Home app on your iOS device.
Turn Off Siri on HomePod Using Home App on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Open the Home app on your iOS device. Step #2. Now, tap on Rooms tab at the bottom of the screen. Step #3. Next, head over to the room that contains your smart speaker. Step #4. Next up, you need to long press on the HomePod icon. Step #5. Up next, tap on Details and then turn off the switch next to “Listen for Hey Siri.”

Step #1. Open the Home app on your iOS device → tap on Rooms tab → go to the room which contains the speaker → firmly press on the HomePod icon → tap on Details. Step #2. Finally, turn on the switch next to “Listen for Hey Siri.”
Turn Off Touch-and-Hold for Siri on HomePod
And if you don’t want to use your voice or the Home app, there is another way to turn off/on Hey Siri on the speaker just by touching and holding the screen on top of the speaker. Step #1. Open the Home app on your iOS device → tap on Rooms tab → go to the room which contains the speaker → firmly press on the HomePod icon → tap on Details. Step #2. Now, you need to turn on the switch next to Touch and Hold for Siri. And that’s all there is to it! Have your say Siri may not be at par with Alexa or Google Assistant at least for now.
