In case you missed our previous coverage regarding the device, the newly launched Watch Ultimate sports a zirconium-based liquid metal case, along with a ceramic bezel and rear case, 2.3 mm sapphire glass screen protection. Additionally, the wearable complies with ISO 22810:2010 and EN 13319 standards, and is also rated at 10 ATM in terms of water resistance.
One thing to note is that Huawei is only bringing in the Voyage Blue variant of the wearable to Malaysia, which comes with titanium alloy straps. Unfortunately, it appears that the rubber straps-equipped Expedition Black model may remain as a China and Europe exclusive, at least until the company decides otherwise. Display-wise, featured on the smartwatch is a 1.5-inch circular LTPO AMOLED touchscreen with 466 x 466 pixel resolution, a rotating crown on the top-right, and two pusher buttons on both sides. Also onboard are numerous sensors that can track heart rate, air pressure, depth and so on, along with a built-in speaker, microphone, and also GPS, NFC and Bluetooth support. For features, the Huawei Watch Ultimate comes with numerous health and fitness tracking functions such as TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 3.0 sleep tracking, as well as ECG and SpO2 monitoring. There’s also Strava and Runtastic integrations, and a new Expedition Mode which uses dual-frequency five-system GNSS positioning capabilities to provide accurate mapping and positioning. Of course, not forgetting the various smartwatch features which includes notifications for apps, remote calling, music playback and more. Meanwhile, powering the Watch Ultimate is a 530 mAh battery, which the company claims is capable of lasting up to 14 days on a single charge when used typically, and up to eight days if used actively. Charging is done wirelessly, and is said to take only 60 minutes for a full top-up. The Watch Ultimate Voyage Blue is available now, and is priced at RM 3,799. Those interested may purchase the wearable via Huawei’s Official Website, its nationwide Experience Stores, as well as official stores on Shopee and Lazada. (Source: Huawei press release)
