For orders within West Malaysia, the cut-off dates to ship are 17 April for Shopee Xpress, Pos Laju, Ninja Van, and City-Link Express. For J&T Express and The Lorry, it is 18 April while DHL has the latest cut-off date of 19 April. For big orders using J&T cargo, they must be shipped on or before 18 April for interstate and 19 April for the same state in order to get the cargo delivered before Hari Raya. As for orders within East Malaysia, the Raya cut-off dates are approaching even sooner with 14 April for J&T and 15 April for Pos Laju, leaving customers with less room to make last-minute purchases. The same goes for orders between East Malaysia and the Peninsular; 13 April for Pos Laju, 14 April for J&T, and 15 April for Ninja Van and DHL. If you are cutting close to these dates when making your orders, please be reminded that Shopee no longer allows customers to choose the courier for the deliveries anymore. Instead, you should ask the seller about which courier they are using so you know which respective date to look out for, as well as their ability to ship your order by these cut-off dates.
In related news, Shopee recently introduced transferable and non-transferable ShopeePay balances. The distinction between the two categories is seemingly to prevent users from using the e-wallet to cash out credit cards while avoiding expensive fees. With this, top-ups from credit cards can no longer be withdrawn or transferred to other users. (Source: Shopee)
